On November 26, 2024, meetings dedicated to the topical topic of mediation in medicine were held at the Uralsk City Multidisciplinary Hospital. The initiator of the events was the Honorary Mediator of the MPC from Uralsk, Zauresh Akhmetovna Shatikova, who actively shared her experience, answered questions and provided the participants with the necessary materials.

More than 60 hospital staff took part in the first day of the meeting. The participants were provided with handouts, including business cards, flyers and booklets detailing the possibilities of mediation. According to the survey, only 15% of the participants had a general understanding of mediation. However, by the end of the event, each participant had a clear understanding of the process and its benefits, which confirmed the effectiveness of the meeting.

Special attention was paid to practical issues. The participants discussed a real example of conflict resolution related to a medical error that caused significant damage. Thanks to mediation, organized and successfully completed by Zauresh Akhmetovna, the parties reached a compromise, and the conflict was resolved.

Honorary mediator Shatikova Zauresh Akhmetovna, chairman of the RCB of the East Kazakhstan Region, lawyer Kusainova S. Samenova, representatives of the trade union "Senim", "MPO of Kazakhstan" and Akimat of the West Kazakhstan Region held a working meeting with the staff of the hospital. The participants discussed the introduction of mediation in healthcare as an effective tool for preventing and resolving conflicts between patients and medical staff.

The events demonstrated that mediation is an important step in improving the quality of medical care and building trust in the healthcare system.

On November 28 and 29, 2024, the head of the branch of the NGO "International Human Rights Center" in the Abai region, Shapiev M.Zh., took part in the scientific and practical conference "National Unity and interethnic interaction in the context of regional peculiarities", which was held in Semey and Borodulikhinsky district.

On behalf of the NGO "International Human Rights Center", he made a presentation on the topic "Development of the mediation institute in Kazakhstan". In his speech, he shared his experience and thoughts on how mediation contributes to strengthening dialogue, mutual understanding and fair conflict resolution in society.

On 11/29/2024, a scientific and practical conference was held on the topic: "Family demographic and gender policy: risk factors and ways to improve the effectiveness of implementation."The event was organized by the club of women leaders of the city of Kostanay.
  The work of the section “Problems of the development of the family institute in Kazakhstan" was attended by the chairman of the juvenile court K.S. Sharmukhametova, the Mediator of the mediation center of the NGO "International Human Rights Center" M.N. Eleusizova, the lawyer of the juvenile consultation A.Amankulova, representatives of the Department of Education of regional and urban significance.
Mediator Eleusizova M.N., introduced the participants to the topic: The role of the mediation institute in resolving marital and family disputes. Problems of development of the mediation institute in Kazakhstan.
The report noted the advantage and effectiveness of the Law "On Mediation" in resolving disputes between conflicting parties and the need to widely promote the use of mediation procedures.
  Taking into account the specifics of disputes arising from marriage and family legislation, the issues of the possibility of applying dispute settlement (conflicts) through mediation, conciliation procedures, both in court proceedings and at the stage of pre-trial dispute resolution were discussed.
Based on the results of the work of the section, proposals and recommendations were developed aimed at improving the development of conciliation procedures and cooperation.

Turkey has signed the first protocol on cooperation to become the "Intermediary base of the Turkic world." Now, for example, a dispute between a company in Baku or a company in Ankara can be resolved as soon as possible without arbitration and without trial through the channel of intermediaries belonging to the union. These mediation documents will be valid in both countries, as well as the court's decision.

Іс-шара барысында қатысушылар БАҚ-пен өзара іс-қимылдың заманауи әдістерін зерделеді, практикалық мысалдарды талдады, сондай-ақ интерактивті талқылаулар мен топтық жұмыстарға қатысты.
БАҚ-пен сенімді диалог құру және медиаканалдар арқылы мемлекеттік бастамаларды тиімді ұсыну мәселелеріне ерекше назар аударылды. Қатысушылар алған білімдерінің практикалық құндылығын және оқытудың белсенді форматын атап өтті.

On November 21-22, 2024, a seminar on "Effective communications" was held at the branch of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the city of Konaev. The event was organized for civil servants.
Zhandilda Azhigalievich Zhakupov, an international-class mediator coach, delivered a report on the event in the state language. During the event, participants studied modern methods of interaction with the media, analyzed practical examples, and also participated in interactive discussions and group work.
Special attention was paid to the issues of building a trusting dialogue with the media and effective presentation of government initiatives through media channels. The participants noted the practical value of the acquired knowledge and the active learning format.
The seminar was an important step in improving the professional training of civil servants in a rapidly changing information space.

On November 15, 2024, a branch of the Mediation Center of the NGO "International Human Rights Center" in the Abai region held a round table on the topic: "Professional mediators and pre-trial dispute resolution". The event took place in Semey at 99 Abaya str., 2nd floor, ethnomeditation room. ?
The round table brought together representatives of the judicial corps of the regional court, the city and juvenile court of Semey, as well as public mediators. Topical issues of pre-trial dispute resolution, the role of professional mediators in ensuring fairness and the effectiveness of mediation processes were discussed.
We are confident that such meetings contribute to strengthening cooperation between mediators and the judicial system, make mediation processes more effective and bring us closer to creating a society based on dialogue and justice. Together, we are building a future in which pre-trial dispute resolution will become the norm, strengthening trust and harmony in society. ✨
