On July 25, 2026, a training on family mediation took place as part of a series of educational events organized by the Central Asian Consortium of Mediators. The speaker of the training was Gulsina Zholdoshbekovna Kozhoyarova, Chairperson of the Council of the Chamber of Mediators of Kyrgyzstan, trainer, mediator, and long-standing specialist in the field of family mediation. The purpose of the training is to develop professional competencies in family mediation to facilitate the constructive resolution of family disputes and preserve family well-being. The following objectives of the training were set:
-to familiarize with the fundamentals and principles of family mediation,
-to teach technologies for working with family conflicts and emotional aspects,
-to develop effective communication skills among family members,
-to master methods for finding mutually beneficial solutions taking into account the interests of all participants,
-to form practical skills in conducting family mediation sessions.
The training was attended by MPC mediators of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan. They underwent training with an experienced trainer and expert in family mediation, studied modern methods and international standards of family mediation, approaches focused on preserving relationships, understanding, and family well-being, and received practical tools and techniques that can be immediately applied in work. Each participant will receive a personalized certificate of training completion.
