The project “Law and Justice – The Foundation of the Nation” is implemented with the support of the Almaty City Department of Internal Policy within the framework of the “Law and Order” ideology. The project aims to improve the legal literacy of the population, strengthen the principles of legality and justice, and ensure access to free legal assistance for residents of the city.
The main objective of the project is to create a clear and accessible legal information system through which every resident can receive qualified advice on the protection of their rights and legitimate interests.
Within the framework of the project, outreach social campaigns, open consultation platforms, public meetings, and informational and educational events are organized with the participation of practicing lawyers, representatives of government agencies, the prosecutor’s office, the police, public organizations, and members of the expert community.
Special attention is given to socially vulnerable groups, including:
- pensioners;
- large families;
- youth;
- persons with disabilities;
- citizens facing difficult life circumstances.
The project is aimed not only at providing free legal assistance but also at fostering a culture of legal responsibility, strengthening public trust in state institutions, and increasing citizens’ understanding of their rights and responsibilities.
IPC mediator-lawyers Yerzhan Nauryzbay and Zhanat Kabdullina participated in the project's outreach consultation event and provided legal and mediation consultations to citizens.
