Criminal Mediation Workshop

On April 27–29, a workshop titled "Features of Criminal Mediation: Kazakhstan Practice" was held for mediators of the International Human Rights Center (IHRC). As a result of the training, participants gained a step-by-step understanding of the criminal mediation process, ready-to-use algorithms for all stages of a case, and skills for dealing with pressure, deception, and intense emotions. Through practice with real cases from the trainer's extensive experience, participants gained confidence in complex negotiations and worked through criminal cases at various stages, as well as issues regarding cooperation with courts and law enforcement agencies.

Lead Trainer: Zhandilda Zhakupov — International trainer-mediator, expert with 25 years of experience in law enforcement and 16 years of mediation practice.
