Meeting of the Coordination Council

A meeting of the Coordination Council for Cooperation with Mediators’ Organizations under the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held in Astana. The meeting was attended by members of the Council and representatives of mediators’ organizations included in the Register of the authorized body.

During the session, participants discussed the draft of the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. It was noted that the provisions of the new Basic Law reflect current public demands and establish the institutional foundations for sustainable development.

Special attention was given to issues of training and education of mediators. In accordance with the newly approved rules, training is carried out by mediators’ organizations whose educational programs have been approved by the Coordination Council.

The Head of the International Human Rights Center, Zhakupov Zhandilda, presented information on the Center’s activities for 2025 and plans for 2026, and introduced the educational programs of the General Mediation Course, the Specialized Mediation Course, and the Training Course for Mediator-Trainers.

Following the review of educational programs, the Coordination Council approved the programs of 11 mediators’ organizations:

  1. RPA “International Human Rights Center”

  2. RPA “International Mediation Center”

  3. PA “Alliance of Success”

  4. PA “International Bureau of Mediation”

  5. PA “Association of Mediators and Lawyers ‘Parasat’”

  6. PA “Center for Mediation and Negotiations ‘Pactum’”

  7. PA “Tatulas Mediation Center”

  8. Association of Mediators of the Republic of Kazakhstan

  9. Association of Professional Mediators of the Karaganda Region

  10. RPA “Union of Mediators and Lawyers ‘Human and Law’”

  11. RPA “Center for Legal Assistance and Mediation – Support and Law”
